What Are Frameless Neo Angle Shower Doors?

When you are ready to look for a replacement for your shower curtain, you should certainly consider frameless neo angle shower doors.  While traditional shower enclosures have doors that glide back and forth on a track, running parallel to the shower wall, the neo angle door travels parallel to the corner.

These types of kits come either trackless or with a frame and are actually pretty easy to install.  They are extremely modern looking, available in anyone's project budget and can be simple or decorative by using etched glass.  If you are someone who prefers a bit more privacy while you rae in the shower, you may want to opt for this etched or frosted option.

Space Saver

The biggest benefit of installing a neo angle enclose is that it saves on a ton of space and makes your bathroom look a lot larger.  Rather than squaring two glass panels off to build a corner shower, this variety features a glass door that is placed from the inner corner and two glass panels on both sides that allow the door to be at a 135 degree angle to the wall.

To seal and secure the panels, the glass is polished on an angle and then fitted to metal clips and hinges.  There is also a sweep at the bottom so you don't get out of the shower looking like you just had rain in your bathroom.

You will find that there are many neo design variations.  The door may be flanked with smaller supportive panels or the door placement could be created to move.  Alternatively, the panels may end at various levels of the wall as well.  These enclosures really maximize a small space and as a bonus, they are exceptionally easy to clean.

Why Frameless?

Neo angle frameless doors have advantages and disadvantages from the framed variety.  Most homeowners do prefer the frameless look because it allows for an old glass appeal while satisfying the needs of nearly anyone's style preference from minimalist to sophisticated elegance.

Frameless showers do require more glass fabrication including a greater attention to craftsmanship in order to create a tight-fitting quality product.  Also, for structural integrity, these styles do require much stronger building blocks so not only is thicker glass required it is usually a more expensive better quality.

One of the greatest benefits of installing frameless neo angle shower doors is that they are by far the easiest things that you an have in your bathroom to clean.  What could be better than wiping off one large smooth surface rather than rigid areas or metal tracks that always attract mold and mildew?

I bought these funny etched shower doors, and my husband says they will not work because they are trackless. I wanted to find something to prove him wrong, but apparently we really don't have the right setup inside there to use these. I could get the hardware myself, I suppose.

We recently moved to Arizona, and I have been looking around for some kits to do these neo angle doors, but it's hard to tell what's what. I wonder if they look the same as the other doors, or if there is some kind of key to knowing which kind is what I'm looking for.

I think the main problem I have with my current shower doors is that the seal is broken. I always have to clean the floor after I take a shower because it's wet and nasty. It would help if I had more space in there, so maybe I can kill two birds with one stone.

When we decided to install replacement fixtures in the bathroom, the first thing I did was add a sweep just inside the enclosure. The floor was constantly getting wet, and I was thankful to find this information to give me some ideas about what exactly to do to fix it.

Frameless shower that work like this are so neat! I had some etched ones that looked like they had little rain drops on them, and they were like the super space saver because they worked on an angle like this. Wish I could find some just like it for my new house.

Our master bath is SO tiny, and I was relieved to find out that we could bypass the issue that we were having. Trackless shower doors are a great idea when they can move at an angle like this. I just wonder how hard they are to put in? Sounds complicated.

I wanted to make sure that I was able to get trackless shower doors for my bathroom. When I was turned on to frame-free new angle shower doors I found the clean lines that I was looking for. Now my bypass is something that I enjoy using.

The challenge I have encountered when looking to replace my old shower curtains with a brand new enclosure is that I am not skilled at construction. I was able to hire a contractor to not only put it in correctly, but seal the whole thing tight.

There are kits which allow you to install your own frame-free neo angle shower doors, but I was having a hard time finding them. I was about to give up the search when I was able to find the best installation kit from a company out of Arizona.

I live in Arizona where the weather is tough on plastics. I decided to install no-frame new angle shower doors to get away from shower curtains. The new enclosure looks great with my rain design shower head which sweeps back and forth.

My old bypass shower door had a bad seal. Rather than looking for kits to fix the leak, I decided to buy new this type of shower enclosures. I was able to find many of the modern designs I wanted the most online which saved me a lot of money.

I was looking for a trackless replacement for the shower doors I had. It was suggested that I get a no-frame shower enclosure - just like the one you are writing about in this post. I chose an etched glass design and I think that they are by far the best looking thing I have in my home currently.
